THAT Report COD-011-0a be received for information; 2. On January 29, 1996, the Ontario Legislature passed the Public Sector Salarv Disclosure Act. This Act requires the Municipality to disclose annually the names, positions, salaries and taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000. or more a year. 2. It is important to note that the basic pay is the gross salary before statutory deductions for tax, C.P.P., E.I., etc. 4. The Municipality is required to submit this information to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and to include the information in the Municipality's annual financial statements. 5. The Ministry of Finance will prepare, for public release on April 1 st, a compendium of records of all employees in the Province whose salaries are disclosed.
