THAT the minutes of the meeting held on April 5, 1982,
be adopted as read.

Mrs. Bonita Cunningham representing the Stephenson
Side Road Homeowners Association, spoke to the
Committee relative to Group Homes. She thanked
the members of Council for their help and understanding
in resolving the issue of the Group Home in former
Clarke Township. She asked Committee to endorse the
recommendation in Report PD-61-82, that By-law 81-154
be repealed. She stated that she felt the definition
of a "Group Home' in the Resource Guide was inadequate
and she would be pursuing the matter.

1. That Report PD-61-82 be received; and
2. That the attached by-law which would have the effect
of repealing by-law 81-154 in its entirety be forwarded
to Council for approval; and
3. That the Ontario Municipal Board be advised of
Council's actions and that the Ontario Municipal
Board be requested not to approve By-law 81-154,
but rather to close their file on this application; and
Mrs. Cunningham's delegation on behalf of the
Stephenson Side Road Homeowners Association be
acknowledged and they be advised of Council's
action.

3. That Thursday and Friday, May 13th and 14th 1982,

north of King Street, Bowmanville; and

(2) The Members of the Committee for the balance
of the 1982 Council year be:
