"CARRIED" Delegations Resolution #GPA-533-82 Moved by Councillor Cowman, seconded by Councillor Hamre THAT the three delegations listed on the Agenda be heard. "CARRIED" Eugene Timoon-Architect Mr. Eugene Timoon, Architect gave a presentation of the Senior Citizens Complex layout for the proposed Sr. Citizens Residence on the Registry Office Propertysite of the present Registry Office. The building would include the present office with a restructured front and a three-story addition. The complex would include 54 suites, 3 of which would be accessible for the handicapped. There would be 26 parking spaces and 50% of the site would be open space. . . . G.P.A. Minutes Devon Biddle Report PD-67 -82 C. M. Park - Petro canada Status of Road Closing, Park Street, Village of Newcastle - 2 - May 3, 1982 Mr. Devon Biddle of D. G. Biddle & Associates Ltd., spoke in support of Report PD-67-82, Official Plan Amendment of property on the N/W corner of Old Scugog Road and the third concession, Bowmanville. The proposed subdivision would include 23 lots of approximately 1 acre. The overall yield on the property would be 1 lot for every 2 acres. Bowmanville Creek flows through the property and he was asked to consider the fishing possibilities and uses of the land abutting the creek. Mr. C. M. Park, Petrocanada, was not present at this time. Minutes Request for Grant Tyrone Hall Board Purchase of Regi stry Offi ce Property - Region Sale of Registry Office - Canadian Order of Foresters - 4 - May 3, 1982 Resolution #GPA-544-S2 Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Councillor Prout THAT Item 2 be approved and Committee consider the request of the Tyrone Hall Board for a grant up to a maximum of $35,000. "CARRIED" Resolution #GPA-545-82 Moved by Councillor Hamre, seconded by Councillor Taylor THAT a grant of up to a maximum of $5,000.00 be given to Tyrone Community Centre for construction of a children's playground as a recreational facility development, said funds to come from the Parkland Reserve Fund (#5001-4-00007); AND FURTHER THAT a loan of $30,000.00 be approved to Tyrone Community Centre for the installation of a kitchen under the terms of "cri teri a for community centre funding" as noted approved Council Meeting of May 5, 1980, Resolution #C-SO-654; Said grant and loan to be conditional on all monies owed to the Town by Tyrone Hall Board having been repaid in full prior to the issuing of any further funds.
