The B.I.A. is satisfied with the bulk of the report,
but there may need to be some minor changes.
Mr. Herb Tink, representing the Solina Park Board said
that he was present to answer questions if necessary,
about Wintario and C.R.C.A. Grant Applications

Boundary Agreement

THAT the recommendations in Report WD-72-82

1. That this report be received; and
2. That a by-law be passed authorizing the Mayor and
Clerk to execute a Boundary Road Agreement, for the
roads forming the boundary between the Town of
Newcastle and the City of Oshawa; and
3. That Public Works staff be authorized to pursue, in
consultation with the City of Oshawa, a method of
dealing with the ultimate status of the unopened
and unmaintained road allowances forming the boundary
between the Town of Newcastle and the City of
Oshawa; and
4. That the Clerk be directed to finalize the matter
of the Boundary Road Agreement between the two
municipalities.

3. That, in the event there is a future proposal for
the widening and reconstruction of Scugog Road,

the inclusion of sidewalks at that time; and

1. That this report be received; and
2. That a by-law be passed requiring that any applicant,
organization or agency wishing to hold a parade,
sidewalk sale or other special event, which will
involve the use of a Municipal Road shall:
(a) Hold an authorized road occupancy permit.
(b) File with the Town as co-insured, a certificate of
liability insurance for at least $1.0 million.
(c) Secure the approval of Police, Fire, Ambulance and
any other public service likely to be affected by
the holding of the event, ensuring that any
requirements or conditions of those agencies is met.
(d) Provide a written guarantee wherein the applicant(s)
agrees to accept all costs involved in the Town's
provisions of services, facilities, manpower and
equipment for the accommodation of the event for
which approval is sought.

farm-type fence, complete with sixteen-foot (16')
gate, commencing at the south limit of the vendor's
property, to the north limit of Part 7, along the
easterly boundary of the Marvin property, abutting

3. That the trees requiring removal be cut and stockpiled
