APPLICATION FOR REZONING
ANTONIADIS
1. EXISTING LAND USE
Land use in this area on both sides of Highway 35 are a mixture
of Residential and Commercial.
The Draft Official Plan - designates the site for Commercial uses.
The Zoning By-law - zones the area for Agriculture.
2. RECOMMENDATION
The proposal is satisfactory in principle, The only recommended
change concerns the northern access shown on the Site Plan. The access
is shown as joining Highway 35 at the junction with the road allowance
between Concessions 8 and 9. The design of an access in this way is
not recommended. We suggest that this access point be moved a minimum
of fifty feet away from the junction.
Providing the above condition concerning the access is agreed to
by the applicant, we would recommend approval of this application for
an amendment to the By-law.
