Adoption THAT the minutes of the meeting of June 12, 1978
of Minutes be approved as read.

Newcastle Mr. Ian Chovil of the Newcastle Community Conservation
Community Centre spoke to the Committee and indicated that he would
Conservation like to cone to a future meeting to make a presentation
Centre relating to methods of construction of buildings to help
energy conservation. The Chairman invited Mr. Chovil
to come to a future meeting.
O.P.A. 147 Mr. C. Ewart addressed the Committee in support
of an application for Official Plan Amendment by
Mr. P. Papanfkolopoulos.
The Chairman read letters of opposition to this
application from the following:

Land Division THAT Report P-56-78 regarding appeal of Mrs.
Committee 0. Goreglad against a decision of the Land Division
Appeal Committee be approved and Planning Staff authorized
to attend O.M.B. hearing.
District Mr. Kristof made a verbal report regarding District
Plan Plan Proposals. It recommended that the staff proceed
Proposals with an Inventory Survey of the existing situation
which is involved in Hydro Agreement and that all
studies except Bowmanville and Newcastle be done
"in house".

of Planning proceed as outlined in his verbal
report with respect to "in house" studies for
District Plan for Hampton, Orono, Burketon and
Enniskillen.

Plan 659 that the objection to By-law 78-30 by the Estate
Watson Estate is a frivolous one.

Sewerage Plan THAT the letter dated April 25 1978 from the
Study for the Regional Director of Planning regarding Sewerage
Town of Plan Study for the Town of Newcastle be received
Newcastle for information.
Mr. Don Given of Marshall, Macklin, Monaghan Ltd.
appeared before Council and presented a Background
Report for Soper Creek Neighbourhood Plan as
requested by the Planning Advisory Committee on
November 14 1977. Mr. Given also answered
questions of members of the Committee..
The Director of Planning indicated that he anticipated
no delay on the project apart from the provision of
sewerage disposal facilities.
