Adoption THAT the minutes of the meeting of February 6, 1978 be

Ms. Suzanne Ms. Suzanne Stickley the Community Relations Officer for
Stickley Ontario Hydro for the Wesleyville Project, spoke to the
re Committee. She introduced Mr. Jim Dunne, who is taking
Wesleyville over Community Relations for the Darlington Station. She
Generating distributed a fact sheet for Wesleyville and brought the
Station Committee up to date on the progress of the construction.
She was asked to contact the Town Manager to arrange a
tour of the two sites for the Council. The Chairman
thanked her for her presentation.
Hampton Mr. Colin Elliott representing Hampton Court Estates (Supermax)
Court stated that they had submitted a Draft Plan of Subdivision
Estates and expressed concern that the Secondary Plan for Hampton
(Supermax) had not been completed. He was asked to present his verbal
proposal to fund the cost of a. Plan for the Hamlet of Hampton
in writing, to the Town Manager.

Mr. Scott Mr. Chas. Ewert, Solicitor, and Mr. Scott Fennell were
Fennell present and expressed concern that they had been attempting

Newcastle residential development at the Marina facilities in the
Village of Newcastle brought before the Committee. They
were told that the Planning Department was awaiting comments
from the Region of Durham Works Department.

King St. E of "That the subject land be rezoned to CRD as presently contained
George, Bowman- in the Bowmanville Zoning By-law, subject to fulfillment of the
ville (Samuels) following conditions prior to rezoning:
I. Submission by the applicant of plans in full conformity
with the CRD Zone requirements.
2. Entry by the applicant into registerable agreement with
the Town of Newcastle under the provisions of Section 35a
of The Planning Act.
3. Entry by the applicant into a servicing agreement with the
Region of Durham.
4. Inclusion in the above agreement with the Town of Newcastle
of provisions requiring payment of the usual development
charges specified in by-law 76-58, and inclusion of a provision
that, if construction does not commence within one year of OMB
approval, the issuance of further building permits may be
postponed until completion of the new sewage treatment plant.
5. Those areas of concern relative to -variance with the Regional
and Bowmanville Official Plans be a matter of liaison between
Regional and Local Staff.

Mr. Gary Hodgins made a presentation to Committee:regarding
Rills of Liberty North and stated that the draft Plan of
Subdivision would be amended in accordance with the comments
in Report 13-78.
