Worden (1) Minutes of Previous Meeting Resolution No.P-155-77 Moved by Mt. R. Hetherington, seconded by Mr. H. Hammond, That the minutes of the meeting held on August 8, 1977, be approved as read. "CARRIED" (2) Del tions a) Mr. Joe Schwarz, representing his brother Carl and himself presented a plan of subdivision, in Part of lots 11 and 12, Concession 1, Bowmanville. Their plan would comprise of some L10 townhouses and 60 semi-detached homes and would require a rezoning from Industrial to Residential of their 20 acre holding. Hetherington, seconded by Nr, H. Hammond, That this application for the approval of plan of subdivision be referred to Staff fora preliminary report. "CARRIED" c) Schickedanz Develo ments Mme. Hugh Macklin and Mr. Marvin Rubinstein of the firm of Marshall, Macklin and Monaghan presented data and cost evaluation of Alter- native location for a nom highway No. 401 interchange and North- South Arterial Road in east Bowmanville. They asked for recommen- dation from the Planning Advisory Committee as they would have approximately 125 units adjacent to the roads. Resolution No. P-1.58-77 Moved by Mr. R. Hammond, seconded by Councillor Taylor, That this Committee concur with report 2809 and also notify Mr. Baker of the 17 foot road widening and the rezoning of approximately 5 acres of the western portion, before forwarding the application to Council. "CARRIED" Resolution No. P=166-77 Moved by Councillor Taylor, seconded by Mr. H. Hammond, That we now deal with report # 271, on Green Paper on Food Land Guidelines. "CARRIED" 3.. Resolution No. P-168-77 Moved by Mr. R. Hetherington, seconded by Dr. Rowsell, That Report No.. 271, be lifted from the table. "CARRIED" Mr. Donald H. Rickard of Durham County Soil and Crop Improvement Association provided hand --outs to the members of the Committee.
