Minutes of a regular meeting of the Newcastle Community Services
Planning Board, held on November 6, 1985 at Haydon Community Hall.

B F concerning Liquor Control Board regulations, with Community Services
Dept. arranging details in conjunction with the Chairman of the NCSPB.

THAT the insurance section of the workshop only address items that
relate to the Liquor Control Board.

THAT this Board ask Councillor Bruce Taylor in his capacity as Liaison
Officer to communicate to Council our concerns as relates to the Swim
Team request CS -21-85, specifically:
1. refutes concepts of user pay policy as this Board views it
2. does not recognize the historical decision on the Board of
Education's part i -e. not to participate in the operation of
the pool
3. does not bring to this Board what it views as a change of policy
from what was intended in the Master Plan (Rec. #70).

THAT when vacancies occur on NCSPB - respective Ward members make
candidate recommendations to the Council Striking Committee for
approval.

him his absence and reassure him of his importance to the board and
the need to be present at the NCSPB meetings.
