Gray, Chairman Councillor J. W. Holliday, Member Mayor G. B. Rickard, Member Deputy Clerk, G. Gray, Secretary Also Present: T. A. Fanning, Director of Parks and Recreation Absent: Councillor D. W. Allin, Member Resolution #CS -251-77 Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Con. Holliday Adoption THAT the minutes of the meeting of October 3, 1977 of Minutes be adopted as read. "CARRIED" Hampton Mr. Bob Allin, General Manager of the Central Lake Pond Ontario Conservation Authority presented a Site Plan Park for changes to Hampton Pond Park which are being carried out by the Authority and requested permission to change two lights presently in the Park to Mercury Vapour Lights. Resolution #CS -252-77 Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Con. Holliday Lights in THAT C.L.O.C.A. be given the authority to change the Hampton two lights in Hampton Park to Mercury Vapour provided Park the cost is taken from their Budget. "CARRIED" Recreation T. A. Fanning, Director of Parks and Recreation Report presented his report. Resolution CICS -253-77 Moved by Con. Holliday, seconded by Mayor Rickard Access THAT the Chairman and the Parks and Recreation Director to Village contact the owner of the Elmhurst Hotel in the Village Park of Newcastle regarding access to the Village Park. Morris of Newtonville Newtonville the Chairman contact him and arrange a time for a meeting. "CARRIED" Resolution TICS -255-77 Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Con. Holliday THAT the Recreation Report be received for information. "CARRIED" Resolution TICS -256-77 Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Con. Holliday Old Kirby THAT a meeting be arranged for Monday, November 7, School 1977 at 2 p.m. in Court Room #2, to discuss the disposition of the Old Kirby School and the Town of Newcastle Museum Board, the Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee, Mr. V. N. Styrmo. Historical and Museum Branch of the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, the Town Treasurer and any interested persons be invited to attend. Holliday Outdoor THAT the Lions Club in the Village of Newcastle be Rink granted permission to flood the tennis Courts and Newcastle make an outdoor rink and use the swimming pool building as a dressing room, if this can be accommodated to the satisfaction of the Director of: Parks and Recreation. Gray Santa Claus THAT the Santa Claus Parade Committee be granted Parade Floats permission to use the Park Maintenance Garage to prepare floats. "CARRIED" Resolution #CS -259-77 Moved by Con.
