W. Allin, Member Councillor J. W. Holliday, Member Mayor G. B. Rickard, Member Deputy Clerk, G. Gray, Secretary Resolution TICS -183-77 Moved by Con. Allin, seconded by Con. Holliday Minutes THAT the minutes of the meeting of June 6, 1977 be adopted as read. "CARRIED" J-. C. Mr. Butler of the Jr. C. Hockey Club, Bowmanville Hockey Association Hockey addressed the Committee regarding the use of the Darlington Sports Association Centre for a "Septemberfest". Resolution #CS -184-77 Moved by Con. Holliday, seconded by Con. Allin Septemberfest THAT it be recommended To Council that the Bowmanville Hockey Darlington Association be allowed to rent the Darlington Sports Centre for Sports a "Septemberfest" for three nights, September 15, 16, and 17 at Centre a fee of $400., subject to authorization by the Recreation Director and this be confirmed in writing. "CARRIED" Resolution TICS -185-77 Moved by Con. Allin, seconded by Con. Holliday Lot Levies THAT the Treasurer's report on Lot Levies Reserve Analysis be Reserve received for information. Holliday Air Sampling THAT the letter from the Region of Durham regarding air sampling and in Arenas exhaust gas monitoring being carried out in Arenas be referred to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Arena Manager to see if one unit could be used in both Arenas and they bring back a report on the need for this Unit. Holliday Rural THAT the Municipality make application for a grant under the Rural Employment Employment Incentives Program 1977-78 offered by the Ministry of Incentives Agriculture and Food and this be under the direction of the Director Program of Parks and Recreation. Holliday Canada Non- THAT Mr. Fanning, in co-operation with Mr. Jim Robinson of the Jaycees Stop Coast to work out a program to participate in the Canada Non -Stop Ccast to Coast Relay Coast Relay Run. Run "CARRIED" Resolution TICS -189-77 Moved by Con. Allin, seconded by Con. Holliday Wimming THAT Councillor Holliday and Mr. Fanning check the buildings at Pool the swimming pools in Bowmanville and Newcastle and bring back Buildings a report on the condition of the buildings. "CARRIED" Resolution TICS -190-77 Moved by Con. Allin, seconded by Con. Holliday Proposed THAT the Agreement with the Northumberland and Newcastle Board of Agreement Education regarding a swimming pool at Bowmanville High School be re Swimming tabled for further review and copies be sent to all members of Council Pool Bowmanvilleand they be invited to the next meeting of the Community Services High School Committee.
