W. Allin, Member Councillor K. E. Lyall, Member Mayor G. B. Rickard, Member Deputy Clerk, G. Gray, Secretary. Resolution $CS -197-76 Moved by Con. Lyall, seconded by Con. Allin Adoption THAT the minutes of meeting held on July 5, 1976 be of Minutes adopted. "CARRIED" Fire Fire Chief J. Hayman presented his report. Department Resolution #CS -198-76 Moved by Con. Lyall, seconded by Con. Allin Lettering THAT the Fire Chief Order the lettering for Fire Hall #2 Fire Hall as per quotation from Plastic Letters & Signs Limited, 112. Allin Lease THAT the Clerk and the Fire Chief draw up a lease for the reFire apartment over Firs Hall 412, that it be on a month-to-month Hall basis, detailing what is included in the rent, that it be Apartment rented to a volunteer fireman and that it be subject to change according to the Rent Review Board. Lyall Volunt Fireman THAT it be recommended to Council that they concur with Fire Hall the Chief's recommendation for the hiring of Louglas J. 411 Barnett as volunteer fireman at Fire Hall 411. Allin Alarm THAT the Fire Chief bring in an up-to-date report on the total System alarm system in all Fire Stations in the Town with the coat and a recommendation as to how it can be financed within the Budget. Allin Repairs THAT Mr. Neads contact the company which quoted on repairs to to the Zamboni and report back to the next meeting, in the Zamboni meantime, Mr. Needs check other alternatives. Allin Rotary THAT a letter be sent to the Rotary Club of Bowmanville Club thanking them for the donation of playground equipment at Donation Soper Creek Park. Allin Newcastle THAT the Clerk write to the Newcastle Lions Club that on Lions Club information from Mr. Fanning they furnish details to the Clerk Wading regarding their proposals for installing a wading pool in the Pool Village: of Newcastle. Allin Fall THAT the Schedule of Fees for the Fall and Winter Programs and Winter of the Recreation department, as presented by the Director, Program be approved, with the exception of rates for Hockey. Allin Newcastle THAT the Newcastle Recreation Advisory Committee be invited Recreation to meet with the Community Services Committee on Monday Advisory August 16, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. and Mr. Fanning have a draft Committee of his Brochure prepared for presentation at that meeting. THAT a meeting be set up with a representative of the Province, Foundation the Chairman of the Community Services Committee and persons Committee who have indicated that they would be interested in working together on a Heritage Foundation Committee, as suggested in a letter from Dyana Layng, Acting Secretary of the Town of Newcastle Museum Board.
