Roll Pr ,ent were: Councillor Ann Cowman, Chairman Call Councillor D. W. Allin, Member Councillor K. E. Lyall, Member Mayor G. B. Rickard, Member Deputy Clerk, G. Gray, Secretary. Resolution TICS -96-76 Moved 'y Con. Allin, seconded by Con. Lyall Adoption THAT the minutes of meeting of April 5, 1976, be of Minutes adopted as amended. Resolution #CS -94-76, the words as Amended "parks in the Town, starting with the" be deleted. "CARRIED" Newcastle Mr. George Wind, representing the Newcastle Recreation Recreation Committee from the Village of Newcastle was present to Committee discuss the work of the Committee. Resolution #CS -97-76 Moved by Con. Lyall, seconded by Con. Allin THAT, at the request of the Newcastle Recreation Committee, the work of the Committee be melded under the Parks and Recreation Director. "CARRIED" Resolution TICS -98-76 Moved by Con. Lyall, seconded by Con. Allin THAT 1h' be left to Mayor Rickard to take the necessary steps to publicize the takeover. Regional Charge for water hook up at the Hook Newcastle Fire Hall #2 be treated as an extra to the Up contract. Hall "CARRIED" Apartment The Secretary was instructed to answer the letter from Fire Hall Mr. & Mrs. J. Lyall Antique Articles THAT a letter be sent to the Secretary of the Bowmanville in Fire Museum Board in reply to her letter of April 5, 1976, Hall that the articles at the Fire Hall stay in the Fire Hall but be available on loan for special exhibits and a copy of the letter be sent to the Town of Newcastle Museum Board Chairman.
