Governmental Affairs.

The meeting convened at 9:45 a.m.
TR -2-79 There was a general discussion of Treasurer's reports
Trend Analysis TR -2-79, Trend Analysis 1973-1978,- Financial Activity
1973-1978 and TR -3-79, Application Section 86 of the Assessment
Financial Act.
Activity
The Treasurer and Mr. Hasson answered questions from
and members of the Committee.

of Sec. 86 Moved by Con. Holliday, seconded by Con. Prout
Assessment
Act. THAT Reports TR -2-79 and TR -3-79 be received for
information.
"CARRIED"
Councillor Hobbs and Councillor Cowman asked that it
be recorded in the minutes that they did not agree
with the application of Section 86, Assessment Act,
due to a lack of information.
The following dates and times for Finance Meetings to
discuss budgets, were set:
Friday, February 9, 1979 - 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday, February 16,1979 - 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
