B. Tink, Acting Chairman Councillor D. W. Allin, Chairman (from 1 p.m.) Councillor Ann Cowman, Member Councillor K. Entwisle, Member Councillor I. M. Hobbs, Member Councillor K. E. Lyall, Member Mayor G. B. Rickard, Member Resolution #CW -559-76 Moved by Con. Hobbs, seconded by Con. Lyall Adoption THAT the minutes of meeting held on October 25th, be of Minutes adopted. "CARRIED" Resolution #CW -560-76 Moved by Con. Cowman, seconded by Con. Lyall Dom' Auto THAT the Ministry of the Environment be informed that this uto Parts Council cannot support the issuing of a licence by the Ministry unless the enclosed recommendations are specified as conditions prior to licensing and Con. Tink and Con. Cowman explain to the Ministry representative the intent of the wording. "CARRIED" Resolution #07-561-76 Moved by Con. Lyall, seconded by Con. Hobbs Adjournment THAT the meeting adjourn at 11:5C a.m. until 1 p.m. "CARRIED" The meeting reconvened at 1 p.m. Land Mr. Davis and Mr. Machacek appeared before the Committee relative Expropriation to the land required for the proposed Hydro Generating Station. for Hydro It was mentioned that as far as compensation for expropriated Generating land is concerned, the amount can be determined by arbitration Station but if no agreement can be reached, it would be determined by the Land Compensation Board. "CARRIED" Mr. Benchop Mr. Benchop appeared before Council regarding the use of a re Mobile Mobile Home while renovating his existing home. Entwisle THAT in view of the fact that Mr. Benchop had gone through all the procedures necessary and obtained building permits, but had failed to get the required permission to use a mobile home during the renovation, that an agreement be drawn up, to give him the require? permission for 6 months and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorised to sign the agreement. Cowman THAT the applicant for the changing of the Zoning By-law to run a Nursery School at the Old Shaw's School be advised to take the problem to the Committee of Adjustment. Tink THAT the Ministry of Community and Social Services be advised that the use of the school property as a Nursery School falls within the Broad terms of reference of the By-laws. Cowman Carol THAT the Ministry of Community and Social Services be advised Anderson that the use of the subject property as a Day Nursery falls Day within the broad terms of reference of the By-laws and subject Nursery. to this being satisfactory, the rezoning fee of $250, be refunded to Miss Anderson and all previous action in this regard be rescinded. Entwisle re Cross Land THAT Council withdraw the appeal against the decision of the Separation Land Division Committee #LD 335-76 and LD 336-76 subject to the applicants, Mr. & Mrs. Cross submitting a satisfactory site plan agreement to the Planning Advisory Committee recognizing the set backs of houses and also the environmental aspects of the proposal. Lyall Tomina THAT as it is recognised that Mr. Tomina was caught up in Land By-law #75-27 which changed the zoning of his property, and Separation that, as he submitted his application in good faith, an appeal be made to the Cabinet provided Mr. Tomina agrees to pay for any expense incurred by the Municipality. Tink Durham THAT the Clerk be requested to coordinate a meeting with Christian Mr. Brinkman, the Building Inspector, Fire Chief and Planner High School in the Mayor's Office to resolve the matter of a building permit for the Durham Christian High School. Entwisle Newcastle THAT the By-law Officer's report dated November 3, 1976 be Arena Parking concurred with and that a resolution be submitted to Council Lot to prevent parking on the lot for the winter months.
