Swimminn Class Fees Ward Registration Fee for 1974 - 4 weeks was $8.00 per child and 4.00 for third and succeeding child. 1974 Budget - 4,000.00 Expenditures - 3,976.00 Revenue - X2,7 52.00 Town Treasurer Coments - .50¢ increase over 1974 = 6 % and would produce $2,925 Revenue for 1975 leaving an operating deficit of $1,275 0.00 increase over 1974 = 12f% and would produce $3,100 Revenue for 1975 leaving an operating deficit of $1,100 The Newcastle Recreation Committee is quite agreeable to go along with the rate set by the Community Services Committee. 2. Orono Swimming Club Fees: Ward 3 Swimming - 60¢ per person Seasons Tickets - - Single $6.00 - Family - 2 children - :9..00 Seasons - 3 or more children - 1;11.00 Stickets - not good on bundays - single admission for eueryone 3. Orono Park: ( Swimmin9 Picnics & Parking ) Picnics $10.00 up to 100 persons $20.00 over 100 persons except on bundays Sunday Parking A parking fe of $1.50 per car on Sunday. A parking fee of $ .75 for Motor bikes. A parking fe of :4.00 for a bus. Banking re: Picnics and seasons tickets for Swimming will be sold from the Orono & Bowmanvilie Offices. Kirby School ( Gym Class ) Through our District Director Joe Caruana and the Kirby Home and School Club, we are organizing a gym class for boys and girls. A Registration Fee has been set for $3.00 per person and two Clarke High Students will be looking after it. No cost to aur department. 9. Tennis Courts: Councillor D. Alain, T. A. Fanning, Bill Brunt and HarVey Webster, will be attending the Board of Education meeting in Cobourg on Thursday, May lst. Getting cost figures on building Tennis Courts. 10. Old Business - Bowmanville Town Hall 1972 T. A. Fanning will be representing the Town of Newcastle at an investigation regarding one of the Jamboree fans falling down the auditorium step.
