Minutes of a meeting of the Community
Services Committee held in the Committee
Room of the Bowmanville Town Hall on
Tuesday, September 2, 1975, at 1 p.m.
Roll Present were: Councillor D. W. Aliin, Chairman
Call Councillor A. Cowman, Member
Councillor K. Lyall, Member
Deputy Clerk, G. Gray, Secretary.
Absent: Mayor G. B. Rickard, Member

Adoption that the minutes of the meeting held on August 18, 1975
of Minutes be adopted.

Mr. Larry Pooler and Mr. Jim Robinson of the Bowmanville
Jaycees were present to discuss a Park Project for their
Club.

Moved by Con. Lyall, seconded by Con. Cowman
Bowmanville THAT it be recommended to Council that the Bowmanville
Jaycees Jaycees be given the use of the 17 acre Soper Creek Town
Park property for the'establishment of a family participation
Project park providing a Steering Committee, composed of town
Councillors, Director of Recreation and representatives
of the Jaycees be formed to co-ordinate the project.

Disposal THAT a letter be sent to the Ontario Humane Society in
of Animals Whitby asking if arrangements could be made for disposing
by Ontario of the Town's dead animals through the use of their incinerator
