TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
Mayor Rickard and Members of Council: -
The following recommendations to Council were made at the meeting of the
Community Services Committe held on July 2, 1974:
1. That the request from Mr. Newton for a grant of $5,000. for the
establishment of a permanent Fine Arts Centre be referred to the
Finance Committee.
2. That Mr. Neil Newton be added .to the Recreation Advisory Committee.
3. That the Community Services Committee he authorized to appoint a
Recreation Committee for the former Township of Darlington and a
Budget be set up for that purpose.
4. A report of a Public Meeting held in Newcastle to elect two membsrs
to the Community Hall Board, was presented. (Report attached.)
