This is to advise you that Item 13 of the Community
Services Committee Report of February 7, 1977, as amended by Item
1(b) of the Report of the Planning Administration Committee of
February 9, 1977, provides that a Committee composed of two members
of Council, the Fire Chief, Planner, Director of Public Works and
Town Clerk select a Site for the Fire Hall in the Courtice Area,
subject to consulting with the membership of the Courtice and Area
Citizens Association and that the Developer be requested to convey,
without charge, to the Town of Newcastle, sufficient and suitable
lands for the purpose.
Council, on February 28, 1977, designated Councillor
Gray and Coun#e11or Holliday as the two members of Council.
