(1) Minutes of previous meeting

Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Mrs. A. Cowman,
That the minutes of the meeting held on March 29, 1977, be adopted
as read.
(2) General Discussion
(i)

The major part of the discussion was aearessed to possible terms
of reference relating to the preparation of a study to evaluate
the financial impact of future development in the Courtice Area,
on the Town of Newcastle, the geographic area of Courtice, and
the property owners abutting the proposed Courtice Heights
Subdivisions.
(ii) Other matters discussed pertaining to major area of concern to
the C.A.CaA., included regional services, municipal services,
storm sewers, upgrading of existing roads and the devaluation of
existing single family dwellings in proximity to high density
developments.

(3) Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Task Force to be held at 7:00 p.m. on
Monday, April 25, 1977 in the Committee Rooms, Bowmanville Town
R 1.
