Minutes of a Meeting of the Audit Committee
held on Friday, June 7, 1985, at 10:00 a.m.,
in Court Room #2.
Roll Call Present Were: Councillor R. B. Taylor, Chairman
Mayor G. B. Rickard
Councillor D. Hamre
Councillor I.M. Hobbs, until 11:50 a.m.
Councillor M. Hubbard, at 11:00 a.m.
Councillor A. Cowman until 11:30 a.m.
Councillor E. R. Woodyard
Also Present: Mr. L. Martin, Deloitte, Haskins & Sells
Mr. B. Chandler, Deloitte, Haskins & Sells
Chief Administrative Officer, D. Johnston
Treasurer, K. Campbell
Deputy Clerk, G. Gray
Deputy Clerk, R. Rutledge
Mr. B. Chandler presented the 1984 Consolidated Financial
Report and responded to questions of Members of the
Committee.
Mr. L. Martin presented the Management Services Letter,
Comments on Internal Control and Accounting Procedures.
Financial Report Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Councillor Hamre
Management Services.
Letter THAT the 1984 Financial Statement, the 1984 Financial
Information Return, and the Management Services Letter,
be received and forwarded to Council for information;
the Auditors be thanked for their presentation and the
Treasury Department be commended for their continued
progress.

Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Councillor Hamre
THAT in consideration of Item 3 of Report TR -91-81,
endorsed by Council Resolution #C-1357-81, the Audit
Committee continue to operate in its current form in
the future.

Adjournment Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Councillor Hamre
THAT the meeting adjourn at 12:15 p.m.
