TERMS OF REFERENCE - AD HOC COMMITTEE
TO OVERSEE THE RENOVATIONS TO THE
BOWMANVILLE LIBRARY HEATING SYSTEM
1. To act as Liaison between Council and the Library Board with respect to
the renovations to the Bowmanville Library Heating System and make
recommendations as required to Council and the Library Board;
2. To review the tender documents and specifications when they have been
prepared in consultation with the consultants;
3. To review specifications for the purpose of establishing the manner in
which the renovations will be carried out;
4. To establish the funding required for the project and identify amounts to
be paid by Council and the Library Board;
5. To research, identify and utilize all sources of funding that might be
available, including Government Grants;
6. During the period of renovation, review and monitor the project and be
authorized to approve "Change of Work Orders" as necessary, provided such
changes permit the project to remain within budget;
7. To review and approve payment of all accounts associated with the heating
renovation project.
