Special meeting of the Darlington Township Council was held this evening
in the Council Chambers, Reeve Nichols presiding. Present: Deputy Reeve Rickard,
Councillors-Smith and Trull.
On motion a By-law to provide for the raising upon Debentures of a surra
not exceeding $45000.00 was given its first and second readings.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Smith that the Clerk be
instructed to insert a notice in the local press clarifying the Township' s position
to the proposed Mausoleum in Hampton.
Meeting adjourned.

Darlington Township Council met with the Board of the Darlington Community
Centre this evening.
Present: Reeve Nichols, Deputy Reeve Rickard, Messrs. Trull, Smith,
Beech, Ashton, ChantS-. Vice.
It was recommended that Township completely furnish Community Hall kitchen
including dishes & Silverware. All Agree4
