Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on
this date, all members Dresent, Reeve Blanchard presiding.
62+-2-1 Moved by Councillors Budai & Gibbs that the minutes of the
meeting held January 15th, 1961 be adopted as read.
6J,.-2-2 I'loved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that the
Reeve and Treasurer are hereby authorized to issue Road Account cheques
in the total :Idount of .Y 6,3;25-1,6.
6L-2-3 by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that this
Council petition the tnited Counties of Northumberland &; Durham, to
rake repairs to the Scugog Road, from Boi anville to Taunton Road, in
-7964, .

all Council meetings be mailed to Mrs . Ann White, as secretary of
Darlington Ratepayers Association.
64-2-5 1.11oved by Councillors Gibbs and Doi�.n that a grant of $150.00
be made to the Salvation Army.
6L-2-6 Moved by Councillor Down and Deputy Reeve Muir that Council
recess for 15 minutes.

Moved by Councillors Dotiin and Budai that the Annual Membership
fee of $60.00 be paid to the Ontario Municipal Association.
64.-2-8 Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Muir that the
annual membership fee of $15.00 be paid to the Ontario Good Roads
Association.
61.-2-9 Moved by Councillors Dawn and Gibbs that the Reeve, Deputy
Reeve and the Road Supt be delegates to the Ontario Good Roads
Convention.
6/.-2-10 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that the
annual membership fee of X25.00 be paid to Ontario Trustees and Ratepayers
Association, and that Mrs. Budai be delegated to attend the Association' s
Convention in Toronto March 30 - April 1, 19'/,, .
64-2-11 'Moved by Councillors Budai and Deputy Reeve Muir that the
annual membership fee of $35.00 be paid to the Ontario Mayor' s &, Reeves
Association and that Reeve Blanchard or his appointee be delegated to
attend the Associations Convention in Sudbury in June 1964.
6t-2-12 Moved by Councillors Dorm and Gibbs that this Council approves
the 1961 estimate of Darlington Cemetery Board, and that the sura of
a�)1,000.00 be included in the 196J, estimates for the Board' s expenditure.
6 -2-13 Moved by Councillors Down and Gibbs that the Bos�nanville Area
Ambulance Committee be advised that this Council agrees to the proposal
that only one ambulance need be used.
64,2-14 Moved by Councillors Dorn and Gibbs that the Township' s
Wrecking Yard By-law be referred to the By-lays Committee for study
and recommendation.
64-2-15 Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that a special .meeting of
Council be held on Monday, February 17th, 196 , at 10: 00 a.m. to consider
applications for tie position of Assessor and to transact other
business.
