SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special meeting of Bowmanville Town Council convened at
4:10 p.m. on Friday Novembe.r 1, 1963 with His Worship Mayor
Ivan M. Hobbs in the Chair.
All members p'resent except Councillor Schackelton and Reeve

BY-LAWS:
It was reported that the meeting had been called to con-
sider the necessary Election By-law.
1.
Moved by Cr. Hughes, seconded by Cr. Hooperl
THAT leave be granted to introduce a By-law to appoint
the places for holding the next Municipal Election and
other purposes. CARRIED
Moved by Cr. Fice, seconded by Cr. Oke.
THnT the By-law be read a first time referred to Council
in Committee of the Whole and read a second time Mayor
in the Chair. CARRIED
3. Moved by Cr. Oke, seconded by Cr. Hughes.

THAT we rise and report successful second reading of the
By-law in Committee of the Whole. CARRIED
Moved by Cr. Hooper; seconded by Cr. Fice.
THAT the report of Council in Committee of the Whole
on the By-law be received and adopted same be now read
a third time engrossed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk,
sealed and numbered BIL 1891.
CARRIED
Moved by Cr. Hooper, seconded by Cr. Oke.
THAT we do now adjourn 4:15 P.M.
