THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 2004- 019
Being a By-law to appoint Members to the Municipal
Heritage Committee (formerly Local Architectural
Conservation Advisory Committee) for the Municipality of
Clarington and to repeal By-law 2001-010.
WHEREAS Section 28 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter 0.18 states that:
"The council of a municipality may by by-law establish a Municipal Heritage Committee to
advise and assist the council on matters relating to this Part, matters relating to Part V and
such other matters as the council may specify by by-law.";
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF CLARINGTON HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Municipal Heritage Committee is hereby established and the
following persons are hereby appointed to the Local Architectural
Conservation Advisory Committee for a term concurrent with the term of
the appointing Councilor until a successor is appointed:
Don Brown
Johanna DeBoer
Karina Isert
Jennifer Knox
Andrew Kozak
Clayton M. Morgan
Karin Murphy
Jennifer Nicholls
David Reesor
Victor Suppan
Councillor Don MacArthur
2. THAT By-law 2001-010 is hereby repealed.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 19th day of January 2004.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 19th day of January 2004.
