HomeMy WebLinkAbout2013-06-19 Minutes SANTA CLAUS PARADE — MINUTES OF MEETING * June 19, 2013 Attendance: Tracy Bayley-Buckle, Kathy McLaughlin, Roger Letooze, Terryl Tzikas, Robin Lacey, Ted Walton, Bill Heathcote Minutes of Previous Meeting January 22, 2013 were approved Motion Made by: Roger Seconded by: Ted All in favour-passed Terryl Tzikas - Chairperson Website—Create new Website, with a new logo? New website would be more user friendly. Have two people trained to maintain website. The cost would be about $200.00 to set up. Motion: Create new Bowmanville Santa Claus Parade Website at a cost of$200.00 Motion: Kathy Seconded by: Robin All in favour—passed Rules and Regulations- have been updated to reflect the change of going Commercial. Updated Rules and regulations will be sent to Entrants and Fillers this summer Roger Letooze/Bill Heathcote—Judeine/Posters/Rogers Cable/Buttons and Button boxes Nothing to report at this time Jen Ashby—Bands • Nothing to report at this time Tracey Bayley-Buckle—Make Up • Nothing to report at this time Robin Lacey— Buttons/Costumes • Will be making new costumes this year • Complete Princess costumes with four different coloured capes • Also, Mario and Luigi costumes Kathy McLaughlin—Secretary/Publicity • Permit has been sent to the Town. Brent Mavin is the contact now for Permit • Letter has been sent to St. John Ambulance • Central School—Permit has been send and received back, have a bill for Allison • Region letter has been sent.
