SANTA CLAUS PARADE - MINUTES OF MEETING
Program Meeting
November 17, 2009
Start Time: 6:30 p.m. End Time: 7:15 P.M.
Attendance: Roger Letooze, Kathy McLaughlin, Val McCormick,
Debbie Fernandes, Terryl Tzikas, Marie Hammond,
Dawn Longmire, Tracy Bayley-Buckle, Janine Comeau, Jen Ashby

• Val reported that the Santa mike is working
KATHY MCLAUCHLIN - Publicity
Thank you letter will be in paper next week
TRACEY BAYLEY-BUCKLE - Make Up
• All set to go
• Permit for sign was $40.00
MARIE HAMMOND- Treasurer
• 'Emily Stowe School will not be in Parade this year
• Total in donations just over $6,009.00
• Veridian will be donating a cheque in the amount of$1,000.00. Thank you to
Mary Novak for obtaining this to cover our Road Closures. Cheque should
arrive January of next year.
JEN ASHBY- Bands
• Nine bands for Parade day, ready to go
DAWN LONGMIRE - Buttons, Costumes
■ Ready to go
ROGER LETOOZE -Judging/Posters/Rogers Cable/Buttons and Button boxes
■ Roger has two volunteers aged 17 and 19 that will be helping him on Parade
day
• Purchased four more Santa toques
Boxes are at the Legion
TERRYL TZIKAS-Secretary
■ Everything is ready to go
DEBBIE FERNANDES- Floats and Fillers
■ Has 19 Fillers and 11 Floats
■ Railroad crossing will be covered
• No Toy Drive from Durham Regional Police
• Teens for Teens will do Tay Drive this year
■ Zoo - Had an issue with the Zoo wanting to hand out passes. A discussion
was discussed at meeting.
