SANTA CLAUS PARADE - MINUTES OF MEETING
September 28, 2010
Start Time: 7:00 p.m. End Time: 8:15 p.m.
Attendance: Roger Letooze, Kathy McLaughlin,Terryl Tzikas, Marie Hammond,
Robin Lacey, Dawn Longmire, Tracy Bayley-Buckle, Janine and David Comeau,
Jen Ashby,
• Previous Minutes from September 94, 2090 were accepted by. Roger

TERRYL TZIKAS -- Acting Chairperson
• Volunteer Award will be given to Sue St. John this year
• Recruitment— need more volunteers, Kathy will add this to the flyers for Floats and
Fillers and Costumes also add to website
• Reviewed the list of duties,
KATHY MCLAUGHLIN— Publicity, Secretary
• Ad will be in paper for Float and Fillers on October 7th and Costumes October 28"'.
• Letters will be mailed out
TRACEY BAYLEY-BUCKLE -- Make Up
• Nothing to report at this time.
MARIE HAMMOND -- Treasurer
• Roger to obtain receipt from Legion for $250.00
•
JEN ASHBY— Bands
• Two Bands signed up already— Bowmanville Legion/Color party and Whitby Brass Band
• Jen will ask the Toronto Signals to attend next years Parade for the 50th
DAWN LONGMIRE—Costumes
o Costumes are still on the go
• Tom Lenahan will be Santa this year
e Committee to purchase Santa Costume, maybe from Sears
9 Invite Tom to next meeting
ROGER LETOOZE —Judging/Posters/Rogers Cable/Buttons and Button boxes
• ATV— may obtain Brads and also Dawn has an ATV
• Webpage — New Webmaster—Tech Teacher at BHS, Mark McCormick has been
working with him
• Batter for microphone— Dawn and Robin will look into this.
ROBIN LACEY — Buttons
• Worldware Apparel — is working on art work. Keep price below $3,500.00
• 50th Anniversary Float— BHS is working on this. Students will collect Community
Service hours for this.
Jenine and David Comeau -- Floats and Fillers
• Will be setting up meeting with Terryl to review list
® Dave is still looking for Golf Carts — Has contacted Bowmanville Golf, but they will not
return his call, contacted Stonehenge and they are looking for permission for owner, also
Archibalds she will contact her Insurance and will follow up with Dave.
