SANTA CLAD PARADE MINUTES OF MEETING

• Lisa has contacted the Municipality regarding charging for Road closure on
parade day, as of tonight has not heard back
• Town charging $888.89, could this be put off until next year
Lisa will forward email that was sent to Town to committee members
• Budget was discussed, to be finalized at next meeting:

o Bldg. Utilities 5 '185.50
o Banners/Programs $ 465.00
o Bands $5,000.00
o Advertising $2,000.00
o Bank Charges $ 75.00

o Color Guard for Legion also
• Has left messages for a couple as well
DAWN LONGMIRE - Buttons, CoStUMeS
• Sue St. John will do traffic
• Greg Belanger will do Parade Marshall
• Santa is coming - has Police check in progress
• Buttons - the different buttons, Santa will be backwards, also take out
some snowflakes
• Should we sent thank you letters for participating in parade
• Judges - discussion on how long judges take to judge
• Could we add another Category "Best theme"
• is there time enough to add one more Category
ROGER LETOOZE - Judging/PosterVRogers Cable/Buttons and Button boxes
• Judges are in place (3)
• Ayren Links will check to see if we can get Golf Carts
• Bobs Towing will pick Up.

O Permit is back and signed, and ok with Council
• Next meeting is at Memorial Park Clubhouse

• Ciarington Project will be mailed tomorrow (Sept. 30)

JANINE COMEAU - Pacers
• Pacers - 1 pacer every 3 floats
• will require approximately 12 or 13
• looking at someone to take over traff ice control
• put students at corners on Liberty Street
STEVE COLES - TraffiC Control Co-Ordinator
Steve Coles has volunteered to do Traffic Control - Thank you Steve
Will do future parades but has another commitment for this years parade
Head Pacer requires a radio for Parade Day
Get name of Co-Ordinator at local Colleges, name of student taking Police
Foundations, maybe help out on Parade Day
