(Receive for Information) 1 - 5 Murray Paterson, President, Newcastle /Bond Head Ratepayers' Association, advising Paul Macklin, M.P. and Alex Shepherd, M.P. that the Board of Directors of the Newcastle /Bond Head Ratepayers' Association felt that the opinion of their Association should be expressed to their elected representatives regarding the proposed federal electoral boundaries. They strongly oppose the proposed new boundaries which would link them with Northumberland. Clarington has no common interest with Northumberland and, as one of the fastest growing areas in Ontario, they feel that they have a much stronger association with the interests of the G.T.A. Mr. Piukkala believes a portion of that report deals with the issue of deployment of resources to the patrol zones within Clarington.
