MOTION
NOTICE OF MOTION
At the meeting held on May 31, 1993, Councillor Hannah gave
notice that he would, at the next regular meeting of
Council, introduce the following motion:
Moved by Councillor Hannah, seconded by.Councillor O'Toole
THAT the previous position of Council on the Proposed
Highway 407 be rescinded; and
THAT the Council of the Town of Newcastle endorse in
principle the proposed technically preferred route of
Highway 407 up to and including the connecting link to be
located between Bowmanville and Courtice, commonly known as
the Courtice link between Highway 401 and the proposed
Highway 407.
