BY -LAW NUMBER 82- 90
being a By -law to amend By -law 82 -63, being a By -law for prescribing
standards for occupancy of property within the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
deems it advisable to amend By -law 82 -63.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle ENACTS as follows:
1. The preamble of By -law 82 -63 is hereby amended by deleting
the first paragraph in its entirety and by replacing it with the
following:
"being a By -law for prescribing standards for the maintenance and
occupancy of property within the Town of Newcastle."
2. The preamble of By -law 82 -63 is hereby amended by deleting
from the second paragraph the words "Section 36 of The Planning Act"
and by replacing them with the following:
"Section 43 of The Planning Act, R.S.O., 1980."
3. Section 4.4.1 of By -law 82 -63 is hereby amended by deleting
the words "an owner upon whom an order has been served" and replacing
them with the following:
"an owner or occupant upon whom an Order has been served or an
occupant who has received a copy of the Order."
4. Schedule "A" to By -law 82 -63 is hereby amended by deleting
the word "Bowmanville" and replacing it with the following:
"Newcastle ".
BY -LAW read a first time this 5th day of July 1982
BY -LAW read a second time this 5th day of July 1982
BY -LAW read a third time and finally passed this 5th day of
July 1982.
