A by—law to authorize the signing
of an agreement between the Village
and P.U.C. regarding retirement
allowance.
WHEREAS by—law 67-4 authorizes the payment by the
Corporation of the Village of Newcastle of an annual
retirement allowance to Harvey S. Britton of $2400.
per annum.
AND -ATHEREAS the Public Utilities Commission is
desirous of contributing one hundred per cent of this

allowance.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Village of Newcastle enacts as follows:
That the Reeve and Clerk are authorized to sign on
behalf of the Village of Newcastle an agreement with the
Public Utilities Commission in accordance with Section
240 ( 2 ) R.S.O. 1960 Chapter 24, the 1,11unicipal, Act.
