BY -LAW 67 -28
being a by -law to set the first
meeting of Council.
WHEREAS Sec. 184 (1) of.the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1960, ch. 249 states that the first meeting of a
Council after an annual or biennial election shall be
held on the Second Monday in January at 11 o'clock in
the forenoon or at such hour as may be fixed by by -law;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation
of the Village of Newcastle enacts as follows:
that the first meeting of the newly eluted
Council will take place on the Second Monday in January
at 8 o'clock in the afternoon.
Read a First, Second and Third time and
finally passed on the .....J.. day of OU,j. 1967.
