BY-LAW 2003-031
Being a by-law to delegate authority to the
Director of FinancefTreasurer to appeal
Assessments to the Assessment Review
Board on behalf of the Municipality of Clarington
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNCIPALlTY OF
CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Director of FinancefTreasurer is hereby delegated and always has
had authority on behalf of the Corporation to appeal the assessment of
values of properties located in the Municipality of Clarington to the
Assessment Review Board in cases in which in her opinion it is
appropriate to do so in order to protect the Municipality of Clarington's
interests.
2. For the avoidance of doubt, the Director of FinancefTreasurer's opinion to
appeal the assessments on the assessment roll returned in 2002 for the
2003 taxation year listed below to the Assessment Review Board on
behalf of the Corporation:
