BY-LAW N0. 72-13
Being a by-law to prohibit the keeping of
domestic fowl or cattle, goats, swine, mink,
foxes, horses or mules, except dogs and cats
within a defined area of the municipality.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Village of
Newcastle deems it expedient to pass a by-law to prohibit
the keeping of domestic fowl or cattle, goats, swine, mink,
foxes, horses or mules or other animals, except dogs and
cats within a defined area of the Village of Newcastle..
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Village
of Newcastle ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
No person may keep domestic fowl or cattle, goats, swine, mink
foxes, horses or mules or other animals, except dogs and cats
in residential or commercial areas of the Village of Newcastle.
This by-law does not apply to the keeping of the aforementioned
animals on agricultural farm property within the Village of
Newcastle.
This by-law shall be fully effective on the date that it is
passed by Council.
