HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-54THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF BOWMANVILLE By -Law No. 72 -54 Being a by -law to amend By -Law No. 71 -31 (as amended). WHEREAS By -Law No. 71 -31 as amended by By -Law No. 71 -40 authorized the construction of certain works under the Local Improvement Act. I AND WHEREAS tender bids for the construction of said plant were received by Council on September 5th, 1972, and were higher than estimated. S AND WHEREAS the estimated cost of construction is now $119,000. AND WHEREAS Council by Resolution 4kC- 645 -72 passed on the 'second day of October, 1972, decided to authorise the extra expenditure of $20,700 which would be assumed as Corporation Share. AND WHEREAS the Ontario Municipal Board has approved of such additional expenditure. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville hereby enacts as follows: 1. That Schedule "A" of By -Law No. 71 -31 and Schedule "All of By -Law No. 71 -40 be amended by deleting the figure of $98,300 and substituting the figure of $119,000.
