By -Law No. 72 -10
To rescind By -Law No. 68 -46, authorizing
the sale of land to Canadian Christmas
Decorations Limited
WHEREAS by By -Law No. 68 -46, passed on the 3rd day of December, 1968, the
Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville did authorize the sale of certain lands
in original Township Lot Number 9, in the Broken Front Concession to Canadian
Christmas Decorations Limited, for the establishment of industry;
AND WHEREAS Canadian Christmas Decorations Limited have not complied with
the terms of the said by -law and have in fact failed to complete the purchase;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville,
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That the said By -law No. 68 -46 passed on the 3rd day of December, 1968
be and is hereby rescinded.
2. That the proposed sale of the lands to Canadian Christmas Decorations
Limited be and the same is hereby cancelled and terminated.
Read a first and second time this 6th day of March, 1972.
Read a third time and finally passed this 6th day of March, 1972.
