BY-LAW NO. 67-14
Being a By-law to appoint a Deputy
Treasurer and a Tax Collector.
WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to assist the Treasurer in the
adequate and efficient performance of his duties;
AND 111HEREAS it is desired that the Deputy Treasurer will be
appointed Tax Collector for the Town of Bowmanville;
AND WHEREAS By -law No. 1995 passed by the Council of the
Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville on the 7th day of November, 1966
appointed Robert L. Byron, Tax Collector;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Bowmanville pursuant to the provisions of Sections 218 and 225 of
The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 249, hereby ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Anthony Geboers be and is appointed as Deputy Treasurer for
the Town of Bowmanville effective June 15, 196P7.
2. That the said Anthony Geboers be and is appointed Tax Collector
for the Town of Bowmanville effective June 15, 1967.
3. That Section 1 of By-law No. 1995 is hereby repealed.
4. The said Anthony Geboers shall be paid such sums annually for his
services as the Council, from time to time shall determine.
READ the first and second time this day of 1967.
READ a third time and finally passed this 5- day of 1967.
