The Corporation of the
Town of Bowmanville
By -Law 1985
A By -law to Amend By-Law 1959 being a by-law to
provide for We-payment of an annual remuneration
to members of Council.
WHEREAS the annual remuneration presently paid to the
Mayor is deemed not to be sufficient to enable the Mayor
to give properly of his time in the interests of the
Corporation.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Bowmanville HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
10 In Section 1, by striking out the words and numerals
"of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)0* after annual
allowance and substituting therefor "of one thousand
five hundred dollars 01000.00)".
READ a first and second time this day of September, 1966.
READ a third and final time and finally passed this day of
September 1966.
