A By -law to authorize certain
expenditures for the Bowmanville
t%,; Public Library as a Centennial
Project.
WHEREAS The Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Bowmanville deems it expedient to purchase
certain equipment and Books for use in the
New Bowmanville Public Library.
AND WHEREAS Application has been made to the Secretary
of the Centennial Advisory Committee, for
financial assistance under the Federal -
Provincial Centennial Grants Program.
NO,gI THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Bowmanville enacts as follows:
1. That subject to approval under the
Centennial Grants Program, the following
expenditures are approved and authorized
for the Bowmanville Public Library.
1. Furniture $5,000.00
2. Books 5,000.00
3. Shelves 10,000.00
READ a first and second time this 16 day of August, 1965.
