A BY -LAW TO PROVIDE FOR THE APPOINTMENT
OF CERTAIN REPRESENTATIVES OF THE TOWN
OF B00iKANIVILLE ON VARIOUS BOARDS AND
COi,!P1ISSIONS:
WHEREAS The Resignation By Mr. J. Brough from the 1962 -63
Municipal Council necessitates certain changes in
By -law 1$32.
AND WHEREAS a vacancy has occurred on the Bowmanville Public
Utilities.
NOW THEREFOR-BE IT ENACTD AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the appointment of J. Brough to the Arena Board
be repealed and that Councillor K. Shackelton be
appointed to the Xrena Board for the balance of 1962
and 1963.
2. That the appointment of Councillor K. Hooper to the
Recreation Committee be repealed and that Councillor
K. Shackelton be appointed to the Recreation Committee
for the balance of 1962.
3. That Mr. W. Carruthers be appointed to the Bowmanville
Public Utilities Commission to complete the unexpired
term of the late Morley Vanstone in accordance with
the provision of section 43 (1) of the Public Utilities
Act.
