The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of Clarke
enac is as follows;
That the several rates herein mentioned be levied, asse~ed and
collected on the rateable property in the Township of Clarke for the
year 1957 and the several rates shall be levied, collected and paid
to the proper officer of the Municipality in the manner and at such
times as the Statutes of the Province of Ontario and the by-laws of
this Municipality require.
Provided however that on all taxes remaining unpaid after the
fifteenth day oP December neat an additional charge of two per cent
for non-payment shall be added and paid by way of penalty.
A rate to be levied for Counties purposes for the year 1957 of
o ~„ ~.- mills on the dollar.
A rate to be levied for To~enship purposes Por the year 195'] of
f~"~.~ mills on the dollar on assessment not applicable for Per
Capita Unconditional Grant and ~,~~ mills on the dollar on
assessment entitled to benefit by die Per Capita Unconditional
Grant and- ,, ,4- mills on the dollar within the limits oP the
Police Vil age oP Orono on assessment, not applicable for Per
Capita Unconditional Grant and .,-1 miYl.s on the dollar within
the limits of the Police Village of rono on assessment entitled
to benefit by the Per Capita Unconditional Grant.
A rate to be levied for Township General School purposes Por the
year 1957 as per Bill 190 cited in the Consolidated Public Schools
Ao t 1920 and amendments thereto of ~-'~ ~ mills on the dollar.
A rate to be levied for the Ganaraska River Conservation Authority
urposes of ,~ mills on the dollar to raise the amount of
1400.00
A rate to be levied for Durham County Distric'f High School purposes
of 1:.~ mills on the dollar for the year 1957•
A rate to be levied for Hydro Street Lighting purposes in the defined
area constituting the Ham let of Newtonville of /~~ mills on the
dollar for the year 1957•
A rate to be levied for Hydro Street Lighting purposes in the defined
area constituting the Hamlet oP Kendal of ~2,~ mills on the dollar
for the year 1957.
A rate to be levied Por Durham County Federation of Agriculture on
farm properties only of ~~ mills on the dollar for 1957•
