HomeMy WebLinkAbout1511A By-law t o provide for the participation of the Township of Clarke Fire Department in County Mutual Aid.
WHEREAS The Municipal Act authorizes the councils of
all municipalities to enter into agreements with other municipali-
ties for the use of firefighting equipment or any of it;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Clarke ENACTS as follows;
1. That The Township of Clarke Fire Department be authorized
to leave the limits of the municipality or fire areas, at the
discretion of the Chief and under the direction of the T7nited
Counties of Northumberland and Durham Counties Fire Co-ordinator,
to respond to Dells for assistance from other municipal fire
departments authorized to participate in the United Counties of
Northumberland and Durham County Mutual Aid System or any other
County Mutual Aid System on a reciprocal aid basis.
2. In case the provisions of this by-law conflict with the
provisions of any other by-law, the provisions of this by-law shall
prevail.
3. THAT By-Law No. 1438 be and is hereby repealed.
