WHEREAS the Orono Library Association has requested
that the Council of the Township of Clarke enact a By-Law to
establish a Publio Library in the Police Pillage of Orono of the
Township of Clarke, and
WHEREAS the Orono Library Association has agreed that
th®y will transfer all the assets and property of the Assooia-
ti on to the Publio Library if it is established, and
WHEREAS Section 10 of The Publio Libraries Aot, R.S.O.
1960 Chapter 323, provides that ~rhere-a Library Association is
established, a Counoil may enact a By-law to establish a Publio
Library without submitting such By-law to the electors:
NOR THEREFORE be i t hereby enacted by the Counoil of
the Corporation of the Township of Clarke that a Publio Library
be established in this municipality in accordance with the
provisions of The Public Libraries Aot and the same is hereby
established and shall be known as
"The Orono Publio Library".
This by-law shell Dome into force and effect upon
the date of the final reading thereof.
