3. Where the owner ref erred to in Section 2 of this By-Law does not
comply with the direction of Council by the date fixed by the afore-
mentioned Resolution, the Council may authorize employees of the
municipality to forthwith pull down, repair or renew such building, fence,
scaffolding or erection referred to in the aforementioned Resolution.
!~. '+Jhere Council has incurred expense in pulling down, repairing or
renewing a building, fence, scaffolding or erection as provided in this
By-Law, whether or not notice has been first given to the owner thereof,
such expense may be recovered from the owner by action, or may be
charged to the land of the owner and recovered in like manner as
municipal taxes.
