Home My WebLink About2009-083THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON BY-LAW NO. 2009-083 being a By-law to expropriate portions of Part Lots 9 and 10, Broken Front Concession, former Town of Bowmanville, now in the Municipality of Clarington, Regional Municipality of Durham pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O.2001 WHEREAS at its meeting on June 15, 2009, the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington, passed By-law 2009-081 approving the expropriation of the lands more particularly described in Schedule A hereto. NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows: 1. THAT the land more particularly described in Schedule A attached to and forming part of this By-law the registered owner of which is shown on the Parcel Registers in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Durham (No. 40) to be owned in fee simple by The Port Darlington Harbour Company are hereby expropriated for the purposes of a district park pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25.
