THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 2001-009
Being a By-law to appoint Valuers of Livestock and Poultry for the Municipality
of Clarington and to repeal By-law 98-3.
WHEREAS Section 31 of the Livestock, Poultry and Honey Bee Act, chapter L.24 R.S.O.
1990, provides that the Council of every local municipality shall appoint one or more persons
as Valuers of Livestock and Poultry:
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following persons are hereby appointed as Valuers of
Livestock and Poultry for a term concurrent with the term of
the appointing Council or until a successor is appointed:
Russell H. Dow
Arnot R. Wotten Sr.
2. THAT the remuneration be set in accordance with the budget allocations
Approved by Council for this purpose.
3. THAT By-law 98-3 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first and second time this 15' day of January, 2001.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 15r' day of January, 2001.
