BY-LAW NO. 2008-166
being a By-law to appoint Members to the Orono Arena
Community Centre Board and to repeal By-law 2007-034
WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality passed By-law 2008-036, being a by-law to
establish a Municipal Service Board to operate the Orono Arena:
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICPALITY
OF CLARINGTON HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following persons be appointed to Orono Arena Community Centre
Board for a term concurrent with the term of the appointing Council or until a
successor is appointed:
Raymond Bester (former Township of Clarke)
John Witheridge (former Township of Clarke)
Laverne Boyd (Orono Amateur Athletic Association)
Gard Lowery (Orono Amateur Athletic Association)
Elaine Dillon (Durham Central Agricultural Society)
Tom Moffat (Durham Central Agricultural Society)
Councillor Robinson
Mayor Abernethy
2. THAT By-law 2007-034 is hereby repealed.
By-Law read a first and second time this 29th day of September 2008.
By-Law read a third time and finally passed this 29th day of September 2008.
